Can I visit the club?

Visitors are always welcome at our Monday, Friday and Saturday sessions when there are available capacity, just turn up with a racquet and non-marking court footwear.
To check whether there is sessions for play please check the bookings on the ABA bookings page. Check that Pacific Badminton Club has bookings in the sessions you wish to play. We sometimes have no play days or sessions due to courts not being available on that date. 
You do need to register in advance! Email us on PacificClubNZ@gmail.com a few days before the session and we will confirm with you whether we have enough capacity.
Our visitor fees are $15 per session on Mondays and Fridays and $18 per session on Saturdays.

What do I do when I come to a social play day?

When you arrive, please speak to a committee member on duty. They will take your name, approximate grade, and answer any questions you may have. 

Do I need to bring a friend?

You do not need to bring anyone with you as we make the games up for you. However, if you know someone also interested in coming in you’re more than welcome to bring them along.

Can I hire a racquet?

Unfortunately we are unable to supply racquets. However, you can hire them from the Pro Shop at the entrance of the hall for a small fee.

What do I do when I want to leave early?

If you need to leave before the end of a visit, you must let the person on duty know before your last game. This will allow us to properly plan games.

Becoming a member

I want to join the club, what do I do?

You can submit a completed membership form on one of our club days.

I’ve joined the club, how do I pay?

You can pay for your membership in cash or by bank transfer You can also email us to request more details. Note that unfortunately we do not have eftpos.

What age groups do you have in your club?

Our junior club ranges from 10 – 18 year olds.
Everyone over the age of 19+ is welcome at our senior club.

Can I hire courts?

You can hire courts at Gillies Ave via the Auckland Badminton Association
